I present an ongoing long-term project that I began in 2015 and have been continuously working on since. My focus lies in postmodernist architecture. I delve into pure form, which—within carefully selected frames—begins to tell its own stories, detached from reality, disconnected from the context of architectural functionality. My images are a play with untainted form, free of unnecessary elements—a game of light and shadow. The black-and-white technique of classic medium format photography allows for the perception of tonal nuances that a digital sensor cannot capture. I do not associate my work with the issues of our times, meaning, or politics. I do not give them titles. It is pure form in and of itself.
