Shimmering and Silent Wonder
Shimmering and Silent Wonder
Let’s journey into the delicate world of soap bubbles, capturing the intricate beauty and ephemeral nature of one of the simplest yet most fascinating phenomena. Through macrophotography, we reveal shifting colors, fragile reflections, and fleeting forms often missed by the naked eye.
Each image becomes a brief encounter where texture, light, and motion align before vanishing. In this unstable space, detail turns to abstraction and reality becomes elastic and uncertain.
This series reflects on fragility, transformation, and the impossibility of permanence. It proposes a visual language built from nuance rather than clarity, where the viewer is invited to dwell in transition, to witness phenomena in flux, and to consider the unpredictable beauty of what exists only for a moment before disappearing.

For several years, I've been drawn toward the realm of the unseen—those fleeting structures that exist just beyond ordinary perception. Through close-up imagery, I attempt to reveal hidden architectures, fragile geometries, delicate tensions of light, and pigments that shift between presence and disappearance.
I love capturing detailed and fascinating images of small wildlife, revealing aspects often invisible to the naked eye, highlighting the beauty and complexity of insects and drawing attention to the diversity and importance of insects in our ecosystem.
Living in Canada, when cold gets here and insects are gone during winter, I like to experiment with some other macrophotography subjects, mainly soap bubbles. The motion and the light refractions creating such beautiful works of art are fascinating!
