A letter from the dead

One day, someone I knew was found dead in that grassy forest. In the middle of the night, he took his own life in that beautiful place. On the hill where I used to walk holding my mother’s hand when I was young. Sometimes, I visit that hill. It’s near the sea, so it’s often foggy. It’s a letter from the dead. It says, “Keep living. Even when you can’t see what’s ahead.

I studied philosophy and art at the University of Bremen and received my PhD in philosophy from the University of Bonn. I have been writing on philosophical issues surrounding artificial intelligence.I am also active as a photographer, having held five solo exhibitions and published two photobooks. I have received thirteen awards and honors in international photography competitions. My work is driven by a deep interest in expressing the worlds and conceptions of humanity that emerge from my imagination through the language of photography.
