Artificial Nights
Artificial Nights
We all know that human activity leaves less and less room for nature over the years. It turns out that this is also the case at night: light pollution generated by artificial lighting has harmful effects on fauna, flora and ecosystems. A third of the world's population can no longer see the stars. This is particularly prevalent in Western Europe, where clouds turn orange at night, revealing light pollution even high up in the mountains, far from the big cities.
