This black and white series entitled 'Sirène chagrin' explores concepts of resilience, courage, and vulnerability. The objective was to portray a woman with a quasi-spiritual aura in an esoteric imaginary world, weaving a narrative that is both derived from universal codes and specific to the subject photographed.

The use of black and white enhances contrast and relief between the subject's fragility and strength, while the characteristic grain of silver emphasizes textures, adding a tactile, sensory dimension to the image.

Author
As a photograph who grew up on an island (La Réunion) with many cultures, histories, influences and issues, I want to show that there are tangible links between everyone and that singularities can exist, share, interact and express themselves on a collective scale. That's what drives me: creating connections between individuals, arts, brands, fields...

'With heart and spirit' is my way of doing things. It's a line of conduct, both professional and personal, that prioritises feeling (first) and method (second) to understand what surrounds me. I try to be sensitive to my environment so that I can grasp its essence and crystallise it in my daily life and my work.
