How it should feel to feel

I’ve always felt that the expectations of fond moments and the strength of emotions have always fallen flat and have never felt as good as imagined. In my body of work, I seek to fulfill that expectation to prove to myself, and others that may relate, that these emotionally unique moments truly do exist. Through my photography- I am able capture people who are experiencing these quickly fleeting intimate moments. With these photographs, I aim to capture the kindling of an emotion, in the sense that, upon viewing, the photograph can initiate or evoke the emotion of the moment unfolding. To feel is to live, otherwise we have life that is not considered special.
