Playing roles in the jungle

This series Is part of a project I carried out in an old German factory with different models during several months. It has been transformed into a huge studio with three levels. Part of the transformation included a wall with green plastic leaves that has become for me a unique location for creative nudes. During my project, l asked several models to take poses in front of it, using natural daylight. For this series, I knew I could rely on Dominika, a successful and talented model out of the Czech Republic. On the day of our photo shoot, I simply asked her to choose a prop and play a role in front of the green wall. During retouching, I used a filter to enhance the green jungle-like effect. I owe the creativity of the pictures to Dominika.

Eric is a French amateur photographer whose work explores the nude figure through a conceptual lens that goes beyond conventional erotic representation. His practice has gained international recognition through many awards, publications, prints, and six exhibitions.

His artistic development has been shaped by mentors such as Arboulan and Szeni Jung, and more recently by the Hungarian artist Sándor Benkő, who continues to refine his visual language. Central to Eric’s approach are long-term collaborations with models based on dialogue and shared creative input, where both photographer and model actively contribute to the final work.

Working primarily in Germany, Hungary, and Croatia, Eric has developed his ongoing project Venusonearth as an evolving visual inquiry. Conceived as a long-term artistic quest, it explores how fine art nudes emerge through presence, narratives, and a balance between revealing and concealing. .
