Wind under the Wings

Bird flight is an endless source of enchantment . Linking sky and earth, it guides us towards freedom and transcendence. It embodies our angels and our demons, our desires, and our fears, the Echo of an ancient splendour whose signes and path we have lost. Without birds, the whole sky would be extinguished.
It teaches us a means of communication that our narrow minds could never imagine. The migratory bird introduces us to the unknown languages that streak the skies all around the Earth. As a Child, with the window wide open, I used to imagine I was a conductor of an orchestra filled with birdsong. That sense of wonder Is still there, intact.
To photograph the flight of a bird, you have to wait, and keep waiting, to gently become one with its feathers, to subtly sense when it is about to take flights and then gather the grace of the moment.
