Future Silhouette

A rhino calf and adult stand amongst the grass. The adult rhino silhouettes the younger animal and seems to offer a projection of the calf's future. As it ages, the young rhino will gain weight and mass, eventually weighing up to 1.5 tons. Its two horns, stubby in adolescence, will extend to at least 20 inches. Eventually, the young rhino will become independent and strike out on its own; for now, the adult and calf stand side-by-side.
