The soul of a flower
The soul of a flower
This is the story of my photo series. I found all these flowers in a meadow or at the edge of a forest. Every time (spring, summer, autumn) I go out into nature, I always find something interesting that I can creatively capture in my macro shots at home. I very often let the flowers dry to show that they still look very magical and attractive in this form. To go further, I took detailed photographs of their individual parts, such as leaves and petals of the flowers. This allows me to really get into the soul of a plant. And I find that very fascinating. Focus stacking is then used to create dozens of focal planes.
Author
I studied mathematics and physics. Then completed a doctorate in the field of biological sciences. That's why technology and experiments have always been my passion. Then photography came along, and it developed in two directions - nature photography and macro photography. So, I'm a hobby photographer, with heart and soul. For my macro shots I very often use focus stacking (macro slide Novoflex Castel XQ II ). Evaluations and processing are carried out using the Affinity Photo software. For both macro and close-up shots, I use a DSLR NIKON camera (correspondingly with macro lens or standard lens).
