Tapera
Tapera
In Argentina, "taperas" are abandoned rural dwellings found in the vast plains of the Pampas. These simple adobe or brick structures once served as homes for agricultural workers but have since deteriorated due to changes in farming practices and rural-to-urban migration. Despite their decay, Taperas hold significant cultural and emotional value, representing the history and identity of rural Argentine life.
