Breeze & Ashes explores my relationship with my father and the passage of time. Having lived abroad for nearly two decades, I've drifted from my Brazilian roots, symbolized by the countryside of my childhood. My dad, embodying the values of that land, is central to this journey. Returning to the farmhouse becomes a poignant connection to my origins, yet with an uncertain future.

During my yearly visits, I documented the farm's essence, traditions, and personal significance. Initially, it was a tribute to my origins, but tragically, it transformed into a coping mechanism after my father's fatal accident on the farm.

Breeze & Ashes now stands as a poignant reflection on life's fragility, a testament to my enduring love for my dad and the land. Despite the scattering ashes, our shared story persists—a poignant reminder of a lasting connection to the past and a tribute to my father who remains forever in my heart.
