Nature Broken, Nature Healed
Nature Broken, Nature Healed
‘Nature Broken, Nature Healed’ is an analogue photography project I produced in local and regional protected landscapes.
By deliberately loading the film in my camera incorrectly I allowed the frames to overlap, and by taking a mixture of single- and multiple-exposures, I created an organic juxtaposition between realistic images of the natural world and distorted, fractured views of those same landscapes.
This fracturing provides the visual contrast that portrays the fragility and resilience of the natural world.
