North - South

Project North/South - all unsupported by bicycle.
There was already the first small onset of winter, heavy storms, some snow, and a lot of rain. I was soaked, cycled for hours in the rain at 2 degrees with my 60kg bicycle until I couldn't feel my fingers anymore and was shaking from the cold. I waded barefoot through small rivers and went with my backpack to find the right place. I've seen arctic foxes, experienced horizontal blowing snow, and almost been blown off the road. For 3 month I cycled 3395 km in autumn 2023 from Austria to Iceland and back to create a few black and white panoramic film photos with a unique and adventurous story.

Cycling from Salzburg Austria to South Italy, to the Abruzzo. Lot of effort in this photography project, long time investing for a few photos with a story of creation - I got robbed near Naples and multiple times attacked by shepherd dogs.
