Dark Ray

Photographic works. From light diffraction arises a chaotic and harmonic world. The research work is carried out in each photograph, how to expose the emulsion with a beam of laser light refracted in the crystal? I test different shapes, crystals that I find in flea markets, some have been given to me. A whole programming work with Arduino and servo motors allows me to control the laser: its power, exposure time, its precise placement to obtain the functioning diffraction, the one that creates art. Then it is in the development baths that the photography and the path of light are revealed.
Each print is unique, made of spontaneity, immanence, and imperfection: the singularity of imperfect beauty. The ray of black light bends, becomes a circle. It blossoms to express its vitality made of concealments, emergences, bifurcations. An apparent structure without a pattern, complex and infinite.
