Romanesque Interpretation Center
Romanesque Interpretation Center
The Romanesque Interpretation Center , opened on September 27, 2018, in the village of Lousada, Porto.
The building stands out for the boldness of its contemporary architecture, designed by SpaceWokers.
In addition to the reception, cafeteria and library spaces, the CIR has an exhibition surface of around 650 square meters, spread across a large central atrium and six themed rooms: Territory and Formation of Portugal; Medieval Society; The Romanesque; The Builders; Symbolism and Color; Monuments through Time.
I decided to present this series to the competition both for the architectural style presented but also for the study I did with wide-angle lenses and perspectives with vanishing lines and geometries, which this location provided me.
