HEART ATTACK
HEART ATTACK
This photograph is from Dharur, a small place in Marathwada, Maharashtra state, India. Over the
past few years of my work in the field of photography, I have never seen such unique action before!
It was very challenging for me as I had to do this photography on manual focus; auto focus was not
working for this fast action. Summer is the mating season for damselflies, and as they approach the
surface of the water, the fish target them.
Now the action is so fast that the subjects eyes are not in focus and the whole body is in focus
making it a very quick and tidy job. Their activity is slow in cloudy weather and occurs only in bright
after noon. The perfect combination of light, action and angle were hard to capture.
I have been coming here for the past six months to get the frame I wanted, every time I faced new
challenges everytime, like cloudy weather, not getting focus, not having proper depth of field,
shutter speed and exposure issues, I learned a lot from my mistakes.
