Wildfires Spread Through Quinta do Lago in Portugal

Residents flee on bikes and in cars as a wildfire tears through Quinta do Lago in Portugal on Wednesday 13 July 2022 in Portugal.

The fire that started near the site of the precinct intended for the concentration of bikers in Faro spreaded to the villas in Quinta do Lago, in the municipality of Loulé. Most of the dwellings are intended for holidays and will not yet be inhabited. The more than 200 firefighters fight on both fronts, with the help of four air assets. One front is located in the area of ​​Almancil and consumed an area of ​​bush, passed the golf course and spread to Quinta do Lago.
