Transition

The photographic project 'Transition' is a look at my daughter's puberty and adolescence juxtaposed with my body's ageing process and approaching menopause. I focus mainly on my feelings and emotions, which are dominated by the fear of loss and passing and the growing sense of superfluousness in my child's life. I look at the transition between the childhood stage and the slow entry into the puberty stage, where psychological and emotional changes will distance my daughter from her immediate environment.
