The Lonely Lighthouse

This image of the lighthouse at Burn-On-Sea, UK was taken in Feb 23.

The system used was a large format 4x5 camera with a 6x17 Back, a Fuji 135mm lens and 10 stop filter captured on Ilford Delta 100.

I wanted a overcast day and high tide to capture a minimalist scene using a slow shutter speed and low speed film to blur both the sky and the sea which I believe works well against the construction of the lighthouse.

The image has been resized to meet the competition requirements of 1200 px along the longest edge.
