Shibuya Halloween

Shibuya Halloween is fast becoming one of the largest halloween events in the world as tens of thousands of revellers dress up and hit the streets to show off their costume creations and enjoy the night. it truly is a spectacle to behold and the streets are a mixture of chaotic crowds, costumes, colour and noise. I took my camera with the aim of trying to create a series of images that captured some of this frantic energy to give the viewer a taste of what it is like amongst the crowds. In order to do this I chose to use a wide 14mm lens, off camera flash and a slow shutter speed to capture the movement and chaos that ensues.
