In My Arms, I Feel Heavy

With this photo, I encourage the viewer to see a black man who carries him self through this world, back always straight, head always high in order to survive. Forced to have to carry the weight of society's perception of him. Not being able to lose or show weakness to avoid his manhood being tested and slandered. With everyday that goes by, he feels heavier from taking this all in and never being able to let go. But he holds himself up in his arms, as his body gets heavier, he gets stronger.
