SICK GIRL
u make me sick

"u make me sick" is my adventure to the world in 2019-2020, and I made it into a photo book in 2021, but unfortunately it was considered pornographic and obscene by Chinese law and I was arrested for 6 months. I find the world very strange, at least in my own country. In this book, I explore marginalized people and underground organizations, as well as some self-conscious expressions, painfully torn and beautifully peaceful. In each photo, although I am photographing a different person, I am also photographing myself. Because in seeing them I also see something inside myself. I think life is perhaps this interesting, full of drama, too sick.

I was born in 1998, but never received an education in the system, I grew up on my own desire to explore and learn, as I I dropped out of elementary school in the third grade.
I started surfing the Internet when i was nine years old, learning about the outside world through the computer, having a favorite culture, music, and knowledge, but never going out in real life went out and touched it. When I was twelve, I started taking pictures, which I thought would bring some healing to myself and It was also an excuse for me to see the world.
I believed that photography would take me further and further because I would not be satisfied with the status quo.

Now I am back in Beijing and my friends are still as poor as ever but living for spiritual things. Now I have rented a 3 square meter house in Beijing and I intend to continue to use Beijing as my base, taking in the diverse world, society, and people with my own understanding. I am a stargazer, looking at the various stars in my hands.
