Oneirism

The inspiration for the series of photos was the drama "Dziady" by polish romantic poet Adam Mickiewicz. Almost all knowledge about the dziady comes from legends. Rituals used during dziady in prechristian times have survived to this day in a modified and assimilated form by Christianity. The Slavic name of the rite refers to the ancestors who return to the places of their earthly existence and enter into relationship with their living descendants.

I graduated from the Szermentowski High School of Fine Arts in Kielce, majoring in artistic ceramics with a focus on sculptural forms. I am currently studying Textile Design at the Łódź University of Technology in Poland. I also took part in an Erasmus exchange program at the University of Borås in Sweden, where I studied Textile Product Development. In addition to exploring various creative fields, one of my favourites passion is photography.
