Sleeping of Paris, interrupted.
Sleeping of Paris, interrupted.
I love creating double-exposures in my Fujifilm X100V camera when the effect is subtle but alluring.
I love Paris and often have dreams of this amazing city. Often - repeated.
I feel like this particular technique is perfect to convey the image of my dreams about Paris - its somewhat foggy, non-linear, sensual.... often abruptly stopped - interrupted .
Author
Born in Kazakhstan and transplanted to the vibrant landscape of London at an early age, I embarked on a journey that seamlessly intertwined my love for the performing arts and the captivating world of photography. Having undergone training as an actress, my career unfolded across the realms of television, film and theatre.
While the stage and screen provided me with a platform to convey stories through performance, my passion for photography emerged as a parallel avenue for creative exploration. Over the last few years, this visual art form has evolved from a mere hobby into an integral part of my daily existence—a source of solace, expression, therapy, and meditation. In each click of the shutter, I find a sanctuary where emotions and narratives blend, transcending the boundaries of the tangible and the abstract. Photography, for me, is not merely a visual documentation but a profound means of communicating the intricate layers of human experience and emotion.
