Thousands take the streets of Downtown Los Angeles in anger after the decision to overturn Roe v. Wade drops from the Supreme Court.
Multiple organizations held marches and vigils that made their way throughout the city. In DTLA, one of the massive marches made their way onto the 110 fwy. While another made their way onto the 101. Both groups were met with riot cops.
After a quick pause back at the federal courthouse, some folks decided to keep marching.
While marching, protesters were met with heavy force by LAPD. Some were injured from LAPD batons, multiple journalists were thrown to the ground by officers, and multiple fireworks were released. By the end of the night, multiple people were arrested, while others were kept in a kettle before finally being released.
