The lights of a fleeting time
The lights of a fleeting time
The light, the flowers and the objects in my home. They are intense journeys between the rooms to chase the light by moving flowers, leaves and branches that change colors and always fascinate me. In their withering I seem to read the stories of their short lives so I immortalize them when they are now withered. They contain, within petals and leaves, those colors and shapes that time has consumed and transformed. Transfiguring the dying vitality into new flowers, ancient and wise. It is a life break that I love fortograph.
Author
Fine Art Photographer, after graduating in architecture in Turin (Italy), where I was born but now I live in Genoa, I embarked on a theatrical career as an actress and director - and also as an author I wrote many theatrical texts, I published four books - and this has influenced my approach to photography. I started photographing theater rehearsals so that I love to create atmospheres with theatrical lights where the actors are often the everyday objects that take on new appearances. I set up ‘Minimi Set’ in the spaces of the house, creating poetic and surreal atmospheres, I like to think they are another reality that is truer than the real one. I manage the blog 'L'ovo di Piero' of photographic surreal stories and I write on Artwort, an independent art blog, especially about photography. My photographs have been exhibited in prestigious galleries in Italy and abroad, selected for important photographic competitions and published in national and international magazines. Publications: Vogue, Photographize Magazine, Exibart, EYE-Photo Magazine, The Heroine's Journey, Iconic, Booooooom Magazine, Marika Magazine, C41 Magazine, Tagree Magazine, TravelGlobe, Lens Culture, Life Framer.
