Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, Abu Dhabi

The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque was constructed between 1994 and 2007 and designed by British, Italian and Emirati architects, incorporating styles from different Muslim civilizations in one building. Like any other famous and therefore much-photographed monument, I sought a different and original shot, framing a glimpse of the inner courtyard and the main dome within one of the Moorish arches.
