Exposure therapy
Exposure therapy
This is a work in progress. Since the quarantine, and all that it involved, i changed. Mentally and physically. So far my focus was my mental health, which included ignoring my parents when they ask me if they should be worried since i am still "so fat". I don't like it but i don't feel bad about myself, usually. What hurts is when you can't fit in your own clothes anymore or you don't recognise yourself in a photo.
At my last job i was doing a lot of nude photography, which gave me a new appreciation for the body and respect for the women i was working with. So this is my exposure therapy. I was looking to find shapes and angles that i felt good in. I want to be able to see and like what i look like now even if its not going to last forever. Eventually this became a way to show how i feel about the process of self love. After i started this i broke my foot, which meant more time without moving and that became part of the process as well.
