This is an HDR (High dynamic range) mineral moon image.
The mineral part is seen with the orange colors (presence of iron) and the blue colors (presence of titanium), and the HDR brings a depth effect with the part of the moon normally invisible but here which is visible. Like whatever photography can be scientific.
