October Light
On my October road-trip through Vermont, I scheduled a stop at the Chittenden Reservoir in Chittenden, Vermont. My plan was to shoot the morning sunrise and capture the mist off the reservoir and the stunning Vermont fall colors. After staking out the site the night before, I arrived before the first light. It was a bit eerie, being alone in this unfamiliar place in the dark, but I appreciated the nature around me. The morning was a gift, as the mist lingered and the sky turned colorful. And as the run rose, the morning light revealed spectacular fall colors and make this early morning shoot one to remember.
